Date A Live Ⅴ (デート・ア・ライブⅤ, Dēto A Raibu 5?) is the fifth anime adaptation of the light novels of the same title written by Kōshi Tachibana and illustrated by Tsunako. The anime television series is animated by Geek Toys and directed by Jun Nakagawa.
Announcement[]
On June 24, 2022, the title デート・ア・ライブ V appeared before the credits of the final episode of the fourth season, and the work on the fifth season was announced in the post-credits scene. Shortly after the episode's airing, the official announcement of the new season appeared. This announcement was accompanied with art from Tsunako and commentary from Nobunaga Shimazaki (Shido), Marina Inoue (Tohka), and Asami Sanada (Kurumi).
Information[]
On April 5, 2023, the first official art and teaser trailer were revealed. There was also information about the returning staff. Remaining unchanged from the fourth season, Jun Nakagawa is the main director, Naoto Nakamura is responsible for the character design, Fumihiko Shimo is the screenwriter, and Go Sakabe is the composer.
On October 14, 2023, a new trailer was released, and the release date was announced as 2024. Aya Endou was confirmed as Mio Takamiya's voice actress.
On February 15th, 2024, a new trailer was released announcing the season’s airing in April 2024, as well as its opening and ending themes.
