Mayuri Around (万由里アラウンド, Mayuri Araundo?) is a free gift novel for those who attends the theater to watch Date A Live Movie: Mayuri Judgement. It is a short story that features the movie only character, Mayuri. It was released on August 22, 2015.
As for the benefits of the Blu-ray and DVD release, the book is bundled with a newly written short story called Tohka Notice (十香ノーティス, Tōka Nōtisu?).
A "what if" story of Mayuri going on a date with Shido.
As per a promise Shido made, he accompanies Mayuri to every place she desires to visit, meeting the other Spirits along the way:
To the arcade. (Kaguya)
To a cosplay shop. (Miku)
To the shrine. (Yoshino)
To a 100 yen store. (Yuzuru and Origami)
To a cat cafe. (Kurumi)
To a super market. (Kotori)
To a curry restaurant. (Tohka)
Ending their date at the park overlooking Tengu City, Mayuri confides in Shido about a scary dream she had, in which everyone around her could neither see nor hear her, but ultimately finds salvation in the one person who takes notice of her existence; Shido himself.
Tohka Notice[]
An alternate ending of the movie.
Something happened which lead to Tohka being able to see the sphere in the sky, which caused Mayuri to appear to both Shido and Tohka.
This leads to Tohka inviting Mayuri and the three of them go on a date.
During the date, Tohka made Mayuri realize that she is in love with Shido, which prevented Kerubiel from going berserk.
With Shido having passed Mayuri's test, both she and Kerubiel disappear.
Before vanishing however, Mayuri reassures Shido and Tohka that she is not disappearing, but rather, simply returning to inside each of the Spirits.
