Story Notes[]
- Kurumi challenges Shido to a match in which whoever falls in love first loses; with the loser relinquishing their Spirit powers to the winner.
- DEM sets out to kill Shido, to prevent him from sealing Kurumi's powers.
- Kurumi's past history as a human is revealed: having once been the daughter of a rich family, Kurumi was tricked into receiving the powers of a Spirit by Mio Takamiya - the Spirit of Origin.
- During his date with Kurumi on Valentine's Day, Shido learns from one of her clones that he and everyone else are caught in a time loop.
- Shido has already been killed by DEM forces over 200 times, as Kurumi repeatedly tries to save him using Zafkiel's Sixth Bullet: <Vav>, having come to realize that she is in love with Shido.
- After Kurumi runs away, in denial of her feelings, Shido resolves to save her.
- The mysterious being known as Phantom is revealed to be Reine Murasame, before being "devoured" by Kurumi's shadow.
