Date A Live Fragment: Date A Bullet (デート・ア・ライブ フラグメント デート・ア・バレット, Dēto A Raibu Furagumento: Dēto A Baretto?) is a Japanese spin-off light novel series of the Date A Live series written by Kōshi Tachibana. The series is written by Yuichiro Higashide, best known for being the author of Fate/Apocrypha. The novels are illustrated by NOCO and supervised under Kōshi Tachibana.
Summary[]
This is the story of Kurumi Tokisaki that shouldn’t have been told.
After waking up in the Neighboring World with no memories and just having her identity stolen, Kurumi Tokisaki embarks on a new journey to return back to the real world in order to reunite with her beloved. Accompanied by Hibiki Higoromo, she travels through the Ten Regions in search of the First Region Keter, which is rumored to be linked to the real world. Along the way, she must face Quasi-Spirits that have taken over in the absence of Spirits and a growing conspiracy involving her own inverted clone called the White Queen, a lunatic who seeks to destroy the Neighboring World.
Now──let our new war commence.

- A clone of Kurumi Tokisaki that ended up in the Neighboring World after her death. She is known as Empty (エンプティ) when her identity was stolen by Hibiki Higoromo.
- White Queen (白の女王, Shiro no Joō?)
- Voiced by: Saori Ōnishi
- The Dominion of the Third Region: Binah. She is also known as White Kurumi. It is revealed that her dominant personality is Kurumi's childhood friend, Sawa Yamauchi (山内 紗和, Yamauchi Sawa?).
- Hibiki Higoromo (緋衣 響, Higoromo Hibiki?)
- Voiced by: Kaede Hondo
- A mysterious Quasi-Spirit who approaches Kurumi. After Kurumi helps her fufill her revenge, she decides to accompany Kurumi in her travels through the Neighboring World.
Anime[]
On September 23, 2019, during a stream on the Chinese mobile game Date A Live: Spirit Pledge, Asami Sanada (Kurumi Tokisaki's voice actor) announced the start of production for an anime adaptation of the spin-off. The anime was then split into two-part anime film adaptation by Geek Toys, with the first part Dead or Bullet premiering on August 14, 2020, and the second part Nightmare or Queen premiering on November 13, 2020.
